Ingredients
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Dry Curd 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Saffron ½ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs and set aside. In a bowl, mix 75 grams of ground almonds, milk, sugar, and saffron. Melt the butter and pour it over the dry ingredients, mixing well. Add the beaten eggs.
Step 2
Pour the mixture into a shallow mold about 20 cm in diameter. Bake in the oven at 320°F.
Step 3
Thinly slice 25 grams of almonds. Once the cake has cooled, cut it into even strips and decorate with nuts.
