Almond Pastries with Caramel
Ingredients
- Shortcrust Cake Mix 10 oz
- Brown Sugar 1½ cups
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Chopped almonds 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Roll out the shortcrust pastry into a circle approximately 25 cm in diameter.
Step 3
Beat the sugar with the flour, cinnamon, and butter. Spread 1/3 cup of the resulting mixture onto the pastry. Roll it up and cut into 10 pieces.
Step 4
Mix the remaining sugar mixture with chopped almonds, coat the pastry slices in the mixture, and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove the finished pastries from the baking sheet.
