Ingredients
- Chopped almonds 3 tablespoons
- Sugar 6 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 1¼ cups
- Orange zest 2 teaspoons
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Butter 6 tablespoons
- Liquid dark chocolate 10 oz
- Cream (40%) 1¼ cups
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

In a food processor, grind the almonds, then add sugar, flour, zest, and salt. Mix well. Then add the softened butter and mix again.

Spread the dough in a shallow round baking pan and evenly distribute it across the bottom and sides.

Bake until golden brown for about 25 minutes. Cool for 1 hour.
Step 5
Chop the chocolate and transfer it to a bowl. In a saucepan, heat the cream without bringing it to a boil. Combine the chocolate with the hot cream, adding vanilla, until smooth.
Step 6
Spread the chocolate ganache over the cooled cake (if the ganache has lumps, strain it through a sieve). Chill for 1–2 hours until set.
