White Bean and Tuna Salad
Ingredients
- Lemon 1 piece
- Sweet Red Onion 0 oz
- Canned Mackerel in Oil 10 oz
- White Beans 30 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
- Chili Flakes 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Olive Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Transfer the finely chopped red onion to a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix well.
Step 2
Add the tuna to the bowl, draining the oil first. Add the beans, draining the liquid, and gently mix.
Step 3
Add the onion, grated lemon zest, remaining lemon juice, mint, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Drizzle with olive oil and mix again.
Step 4
Chill before serving.
