- Millet 1½ cups
- Onion 2 heads
- Thyme 5 sprigs
- Salt 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil 8 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped leafy cabbage 1 head
- Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the millet with the onion, adding thyme and salt; cook everything in a large pot until the grain is soft, about 35 minutes. Allow the cooked grain to cool.
Step 2
In a separate skillet, heat the oil, add the onion, lightly season with pepper, and remember to stir.
Step 3
In another skillet, sauté the cabbage, seasoning it well with salt beforehand.
Step 4
Now mix everything together, drizzle with lemon juice, and taste for salt; if more salt is needed, add it.
