Watermelon Aperol
Drinks • European
Description
The classic Aperol Spritz is undoubtedly the signature cocktail of summer, but by autumn, we tend to grow quite weary of it. It's time to reinterpret the recipe, just as chef bartender John Smith does at the popular restaurant Sunny Bistro. The familiar bitterness of the orange aperitif is here blended into an aromatic cloud of watermelon pulp and raspberry puree. At the same time, all the merits of the original drink—its lightness, generous volume, and the magic of sparkling Prosecco bubbles—remain in this new version.
