This recipe was created by a popular food blogger. Sweet watermelon and salty creamy feta grilled together make for an unusual and very successful combination. For a touch of spice, we will add arugula and balsamic sauce. Sweet meets salty. For those who are not afraid to try something new.
Ingredients
- Watermelon 10 oz
- Feta cheese 5 oz
- Arugula 1 bunch
- White Balsamic Cream to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the juicy watermelon flesh from the rind. Cut into large triangles for easier grilling.
Step 2
Cut the feta cheese into large blocks so it doesn't crumble.
Step 3
Preheat the grill and place the watermelon pieces on the grate. Grill for 4 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Grill the feta for one minute on each side.
Step 5
Then, cut the grilled large pieces of feta and watermelon into small squares.
Step 6
Prepare the arugula and lay it as a base on a plate. Top it with the warm pieces of watermelon and feta. Drizzle a little balsamic sauce on top.
