Warm spinach salad with raisins and pine nuts
Ingredients
- Fresh basil leaves 20 oz
- Raisins 0 oz
- White bread 2 pieces
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Pistachios 0 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide

Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over the raisins and let them sit for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the stems from the spinach leaves. Wash and let all the water drain.
Step 4
Cut the bread into cubes. Toast the bread cubes in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until golden brown, then transfer to a paper towel to absorb excess fat.
Step 5
Lightly toast the pine nuts in the same pan. Transfer them to a paper towel.
Step 6
Drain the water from the raisins and dry them on a paper towel.
Step 7
Finely chop the garlic. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the pan and lightly sauté the garlic.
Step 8
Add the pine nuts to the garlic. Mix well.
Step 9
Immediately add the spinach. Sauté, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute. The spinach should become slightly wilted. Do not overcook it.
Step 10
Transfer the contents of the pan to a plate. Add the raisins and mix well but gently.
Step 11
Serve the salad on plates and add the croutons. Mix gently and serve immediately.
