
Warm Salad with Liver and Caramelized Onions

You can serve croutons made from white bread, dried in the oven, with the salad.
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Olive Oil to taste
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Mixed salad greens 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Lemon to taste
- Balsamic Vinegar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the salad leaves in a bowl.
Step 2
Chop the tomatoes.
Step 3
Sauté the chicken liver for 4–5 minutes.
Step 4
Add it to the salad and tomatoes.
Step 5
Slice the onion into half-rings and place it in a well-heated frying pan.
Step 6
When the onion turns golden, add two teaspoons of sugar and caramelize for 3 minutes.
Step 7
Add the onion. Season with salt, pepper, drizzle with lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil.
