Warm salad with chanterelles, smoked ham, and walnuts
Ingredients
- Shelled pumpkin seeds 0 oz
- Walnuts 5 tablespoons
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Pickled Chanterelles 10 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Potato 1 piece
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
- Smoked Ham on the Bone 0 oz
- Banana Leaves 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the walnuts and toast until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Let cool and chop coarsely.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Increase the heat slightly, add the mushrooms, and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes until soft.
Step 3
Reduce the heat and add the peeled and finely chopped tomato, finely chopped ham, and parsley. Cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Place the lettuce leaves in a bowl, drizzle with the remaining oil, season with salt and pepper. Divide among plates. Top with the mushroom mixture and sprinkle with walnuts.
