Warm quinoa salad
Ingredients
- Quinoa 1 glass
- Carrot 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Celery stalk 2 pieces
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Dried Chamomile to taste
- Lemon ⅓ pieces
- Scallions 1 bunch
- Olive Oil to taste
- Salt to taste
- Adyghe cheese 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the quinoa under cold water and cook for 10–12 minutes (use 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of quinoa). While the quinoa is cooking, slice the peeled carrot into thick rings and add it to a skillet to sauté. After about five minutes, add the chopped celery and bell pepper. Sauté the vegetables together with dried basil or thyme.
Step 2
Transfer the cooked quinoa to the skillet with the prepared vegetables, add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir the ingredients in the skillet well for about a minute.
Step 3
Once you have transferred the finished dish to a salad bowl, add chopped green onions, olive oil, and a bit of fresh cheese.
