Description

A baguette can also be used instead of ciabatta. You can use wheat bread or multigrain bread. Any plain cream cheese can be used instead of Viola.

Ingredients

  • Ciabatta 1 piece
  • Iceberg Lettuce to taste
  • Smoked Salmon Flavored Croutons 0 oz
  • Viola Cheese 0 oz
  • Courgette 1 piece
  • Olive Oil 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the ciabatta lengthwise into 2 halves, then crosswise into 2 halves as well. This results in 2 sandwiches.

Step 2

Generously spread the bottom pieces of the sandwiches with cream cheese, then lightly cover the top halves of the bread with the remaining cheese.

Step 3

Thinly slice the cucumber into rounds or ovals. Also, slice the fish into thin pieces.

Step 4

Place several (2-3) leaves of lettuce on the bottom pieces. On top of the lettuce, place pieces of fish, then evenly lay the sliced cucumber. Cover the finished sandwich with the top piece of bread.

Step 5

Heat olive oil in a regular or grill pan. Fry the ciabatta on both sides for about 3 minutes.

Step 6

Wipe off any excess oil with a napkin. Serve warm.
