Warm bruschetta with mushrooms and shrimp
Ingredients
- Ciabatta 1 piece
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Celery stalk 3 pieces
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Fresh Mushrooms 15 oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 10 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the ciabatta horizontally into 4 slices. Preheat the grill and toast the slices until grill marks appear. Drizzle each piece with 0.5 tablespoons of olive oil and keep warm.
Step 2
Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add finely chopped celery and garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until the garlic is golden. Add thinly sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-8 minutes until soft, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Reduce the heat, add the shrimp and parsley, and cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring. Spoon onto the ciabatta slices and serve immediately.
