An enhanced everyday classic from childhood. Historically, this salad did not contain any pineapple, but it fits in beautifully, just like curry with celery.
Ingredients
- White Cabbage 5 oz
- Red Currant 5 oz
- Carrot 0 oz
- Celery salt 5 oz
- Pineapple 5 oz
- Mayonnaise 0 oz
- Apple Cider Vinegar 0 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Red Curry Powder to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thinly slice all the cabbage; grate the carrot and celery on a coarse grater, and cut the pineapple into large cubes. Add salt, mix well, transfer to a sieve, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Combine mayonnaise with apple cider vinegar, sugar, and curry.
Step 3
Dress the salad with the dressing and serve.
