Description
Few people remember that originally, vinaigrette is a dressing based on vinegar. The dish got its name from this very ingredient. It is indeed correct to dress this salad made with beets, potatoes, carrots, pickles, and other ingredients with a light sauce that includes vinegar. Whether you use red wine vinegar or regular vinegar is entirely up to you.
Ingredients
- Sauerkraut 10 oz
- Potato 15 oz
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Pickled Cauliflower 2 pieces
- Beetroot 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Canned Mushroom Soup ½ cans
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- 9% Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes, carrots, and beets, and boil them separately in their skins until tender. Allow to cool.
Step 3
Peel the cooked vegetables and cut them into medium-sized cubes.
Step 4
Cut the pickles into cubes of the same size.
Step 5
Finely chop the onion.
Step 6
Mix vegetable oil and vinegar, then add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7
Mix the prepared vegetables.
Step 8
Add the cabbage, peas, and dressing.
Step 9
Mix everything well.
Step 10
Before serving, you can refrigerate the salad for 1 hour to ensure it cools perfectly.
