Vesper Cocktail
Drinks • European
Description
Whoever invented this cocktail must have done so no later than 1950: that’s when a popular author described the recipe in the very first book about a famous spy, 'Casino Royale.' The spy names this cocktail after his love interest, Vesper Lynd. In the end, she meets her demise as a double agent; similarly, the film forever ties the original cocktail to the iconic British agent.
