  • Iceberg Lettuce ½ head
  • Leek 0 oz
  • Cucumbers 2 pieces
  • Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh basil leaves a pinch
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch
  • Salt a pinch
  • Sourdough Bread 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the dressing, mix the vinegar and oil, add minced garlic, basil, salt, and pepper, stir, and let it sit.

Step 2

Tear the lettuce leaves from the head and trim the bottom slightly, then crush the leaves with your hands and place them on a plate.

Step 3

Cut the tomatoes into wedges and the cucumbers into half-moons.

Step 4

It's time to sauté the leek. Sauté in a large amount of oil over high heat until golden, then transfer to a strainer to let the oil drain.

Step 5

Cut the bread into large cubes and toast over medium heat without oil, stirring frequently, until golden and crispy. Sprinkle on top of the vegetables.
