Vegetable salad with cod liver and quail eggs
Ingredients
- Quail Egg 4 pieces
- Romaine lettuce 0 oz
- Canned cod liver 1 can
- Marinated cherries 10 pieces
- Spanish onions ½ head
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 3 tablespoons
- Fresh basil leaves 1 sprig
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the quail eggs hard.
Step 2
Tear the frisée lettuce by hand and place it in a deep plate.
Step 3
Break the cod liver into small pieces and add it to the salad.
Step 4
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Step 5
Add them to the other ingredients.
Step 6
Slice the onion into half rings.
Step 7
Add it to the salad.
Step 8
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Step 9
Add the eggs, cut in half. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 10
Add the basil leaves. If the leaves are large, chop them finely.
Step 11
Drizzle with olive oil.
Step 12
Serve immediately.
