Tuna and Avocado Salad
Ingredients
- Cucumbers 1 piece
- Scallions 5 pieces
- Mixed salad greens 1 bunch
- Avocado ½ piece
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Canned Mackerel in Oil 5 oz
- Chili Flakes to taste
- Toasted Sesame to taste
- Ocean salt to taste
- Apple Cider Vinegar ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Tear the salad greens into large pieces.
Step 2
Peel and slice the cucumber.
Step 3
Peel and slice the avocado.
Step 4
Add the avocado to the salad.
Step 5
Pour water into a pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Add vinegar and, as soon as the water just starts to boil, create a whirlpool with a spoon. Crack the egg into the center. It will be ready in 3–3.5 minutes.
Step 6
Season the salad with salt.
Step 7
Add the tuna.
Step 8
Add the chopped green onion.
Step 9
Add the poached egg.
Step 10
Add chili flakes.
Step 11
Add sesame seeds.
Step 12
Open the poached egg and serve.
