Tomato, Thyme, and Dried Meat Salad
Ingredients
- Thyme 1 bunch
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Lemon ½ piece
- Marinated cherries 4 pieces
- Feta cheese 5 oz
- Ocean salt a pinch
- Arugula ¼ bunch
- Banana Leaves 2 pieces
- Dried Turkey 12 slices
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the thyme leaves from the stems to yield 3 tablespoons. Add a pinch of sea salt and crush in a mortar. Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and the juice of half a lemon, and mix well.
Step 2
Cut the tomatoes in half diagonally and chop them roughly. Sprinkle with a little salt (remember, the dressing already contains salt) and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil. Add slices of thinly sliced dried meat and mix.
Step 3
Crumble the feta cheese, tear the lettuce by hand, drizzle with the dressing, and add the arugula.
