Tomato Salad with Adjika

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes 10 oz
  • Sour Cream 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
  • Cilantro 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Dry adjika ½ teaspoon
  • Suluguni Cheese to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the tomatoes. You can do this by making a small cut in the skin and then blanching them in boiling water. The skin will come off easily.

Step 2

Chop the tomatoes and cheese coarsely. For the salad, you can use either homemade suluguni, farmer's cheese, or mozzarella.

Step 3

Make the sauce: mix the sour cream, cilantro, and finely chopped basil (to taste).

Step 4

Dress the tomatoes with the sauce.

Step 5

The dish can be garnished with a sprig of basil.
