Tomato, Blue Cheese, and Walnut Salad
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 20 oz
- Blue Cheese 5 oz
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Celery stalk 2 pieces
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Balsamic Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard 2 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the walnuts with 2 teaspoons of vinegar and let sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2
In another bowl, prepare the dressing: whisk the mustard with the remaining 2 teaspoons of vinegar and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Cut the tomatoes into thick wedges and arrange them on a plate. Finely chop the celery and sprinkle it over the tomatoes. Cut the cheese into small cubes (or buy pre-crumbled) and sprinkle over the tomatoes. Garnish with walnuts, drizzle with dressing, and serve.
