Toasts with Parmesan, Blue Cheese, and Green Onions
Ingredients
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Mayonnaise 10 oz
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper a pinch
- Blue Cheese 5 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
- French Baguette 2 pieces
- Olive Oil to taste
- Scallions 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, mayonnaise, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Then add the grated Parmesan and crumbled blue cheese. Season with salt to taste.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 3
Slice the baguettes diagonally and brush one side with olive oil. Place the bread, oiled side down, on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the bread is golden brown.
Step 4
Spread 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture on top of each piece and return to the oven for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
Step 5
Transfer the toasts to a serving plate and sprinkle with green onions. Serve immediately.
