Ingredients

  • Cod Liver 1 can
  • Avocado 0 oz
  • Arugula 1 bunch
  • French Baguette 1 piece
  • White Balsamic Cream to taste
  • Garlic 1 clove

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the French baguette (made from wheat or other flour) diagonally into pieces about 1 cm thick.

Step 2

Lightly toast in a toaster (approximately at level 2). They should be crispy but not too hard.

Step 3

Optional! After they cool, lightly rub the surface of each toast with the garlic clove.

Step 4

Cut the cod liver into slices (about 1 cm thick) and place them on the toasted bread.

Step 5

Peel the ripe avocado. Cut it in half lengthwise and carefully remove the pit.

Step 6

Using a vegetable peeler, slice narrow strips from the avocado flesh.

Step 7

Take 3-4 leaves of arugula, wrap them spirally with a strip of avocado, and place them on the toast over the cod liver with a gentle press.

Step 8

Arrange the finished toasts on a plate.

Step 9

The final touch — balsamic cream.
