Description

If desired, you can garnish the drink with grated dark chocolate. For a richer flavor, fatty evaporated milk with added cream is ideal. It's important to cook the cocoa over low heat to achieve a bright, intense aroma. You can also add your favorite spices or a bit of good liqueur for this purpose.

Ingredients

  • Condensed Milk 5 fl oz
  • Dr. Oetker baking powder 2 teaspoons
  • Corn Starch ½ teaspoon
  • Powdered Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Cinnamon 0.3 teaspoons
  • Salt a pinch
  • Water 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, cinnamon, a little cornstarch, and a pinch of salt.

Step 2

Heat the milk. While it is warming, pour the dry mixture with a small amount of hot water and stir until a thick, sticky mass forms.

Step 3

Pour the thick mixture into the hot milk while stirring continuously, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 3 minutes.

Step 4

Pour the finished cocoa into a pre-warmed cup (preferably with thick edges).
