
Tbilisi Salad with Boiled Beef Tongue

Description
Instead of apple cider vinegar, you can use wine vinegar.
Ingredients
- Beef tongue 20 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Cilantro 1 bunch
- Apple Cider Vinegar 0 fl oz
- White Beans 1 can
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Khmeli-suneli to taste
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the red onion into thin half-rings and let it sit in apple cider vinegar for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the boiled beef tongue into small pieces.
Step 3
Slice the sweet bell pepper into strips.
Step 4
Chop the walnuts.
Step 5
In a dish, combine the tongue, pepper, and red kidney beans, draining any excess liquid from the beans beforehand.
Step 6
Add finely chopped herbs and minced garlic.
Step 7
Drain the vinegar from the onion (save it for the dressing), add the onion and chopped walnuts to the dish.
Step 8
For the dressing, combine 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add khmeli-suneli and mix until smooth.
Step 9
Dress the salad with the dressing and mix well. Add salt to taste.
Step 10
The salad is ready to serve.
