Swiss Chard with Shallots and Vinegar
Ingredients
- Shallots 2 heads
- Minced garlic 2 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Red Wine Vinegar 2 teaspoons
- Swiss chard leaves 1 bunch

Step 1
To prepare Swiss chard with shallots and vinegar, chop the chard stems into small pieces. Tear the leaves into 5 cm pieces and rinse.
Step 2
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the chard stems, shallots, garlic, and season with salt.
Step 4
Sauté, stirring, until the vegetables are tender (about 2 minutes).
Step 5
Add 1 bunch of Swiss chard leaves, separated from the ribs and stems, season with salt, and sauté, stirring occasionally, until the leaves are tender, about 3 minutes (the stems should be slightly crisp).
Step 6
Toss with vinegar, add more salt if necessary. Serve immediately.
