  • Red Grape Juice 25 fl oz
  • Vodka 5 fl oz
  • Cardamom 12 pieces
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Ground clove 8 pieces
  • Raisins 0 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 0 oz
  • Chopped almonds 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Before serving, place the pot with glögg over medium heat, bring to a boil, and immediately remove from heat. Strain through a sieve and pour into a pitcher.

Step 2

Pour boiling water over the raisins and almonds and drain the water.

Step 3

Pour the glögg into small glasses, adding a few blanched nuts and berries to each.

Step 4

Serve the glögg hot with tangerines and sweet cinnamon or saffron rolls.

Step 5

Mix the wine with vodka, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and powdered sugar. Let it steep covered at room temperature for 6-8 hours.
