Description

French toast is one of the favorite breakfast options for Americans, as it is quick, nutritious, and very delicious. And if you add a handful of fresh fruits and cream cheese, the toast becomes a sophisticated and healthy dessert.

Ingredients

  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Milk 15 fl oz
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Strawberry 5 oz
  • Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
  • Bread roll 1 piece
  • Chili jam 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the bread roll into 5 cm thick pieces. You will get about 6 slices.

Step 2

Make cuts in the slices to create pockets for the filling.

Step 3

Wash and slice the strawberries into thin pieces. Sprinkle with sugar and let sit for a while.

Step 4

Mix the cream cheese with the jam.

Step 5

Fill the pockets with the cheese and jam mixture, then add the strawberries.

Step 6

Beat the eggs, cinnamon, and milk. Heat a skillet. Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture. Place a piece of butter in the skillet. Fry the toast on it. Each piece will need about three minutes on each side to brown.

Step 7

Dust the toast with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh strawberries!
