Steak Burger

Ingredients

  • Veal Tenderloin 5 oz
  • Bun 1 piece
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked salt 1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Pickles 1 piece
  • Tomatoes 1 piece
  • Onion 1 head
  • "Almette cheese with Maasdam cheese" 5 oz
  • Romaine lettuce 1 bunch
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Barbecue Sauce: Slice the onion into strips, sauté it in vegetable oil, add tomato paste, paprika, salt, vinegar, mix everything, and remove from heat.

Step 2

Prepare the filling: Slice the cucumber and tomato into thin rings, tear the lettuce leaf to fit the size of the bun.

Step 3

Meat: On a grill or dry frying pan, sear the whole piece of meat (with the fibers aligned with the cooking surface) at high temperature for 2 minutes on each side, turning without piercing it, until a crust forms. Remove from heat and let the meat 'rest' for 1–2 minutes, then slice it with a sharp knife.

Step 4

Cut the buns in half, place the bottom halves cut side down on a dry frying pan, and toast over medium heat for about 1 minute until golden brown, then remove from heat for burger assembly and place the top halves cut side down on the pan.

Step 5

On the hot bottom buns, place a piece of cheese the size of the bun, then slices of tomato, followed by cucumbers, the prepared meat on top, sauce, a lettuce leaf, a slice of cheese, and close with the hot top half of the bun.
