Description

Spinach salad with orange and turnip

Ingredients

  • Spinach 5 oz
  • Oranges 3 pieces
  • Rutabaga 3 pieces
  • Champagne Vinegar 2 spoons
  • Honey 2 spoons
  • Lime ¼ pieces
  • Mild Chili Spice a pinch
  • Olive Oil 5 teaspoons
  • Avocado ½ pieces
  • Cilantro 0 oz
  • Spanish onions ½ heads
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Juice half an orange and a quarter of a lime. Pour it into a jar with a lid and add sherry vinegar, oil, honey, and ground chili pepper. Close the jar with the lid and shake well. Taste the resulting sauce and season with salt to your liking.

Step 2

Peel the remaining two oranges, separate them into segments, and remove the white membranes. Peel three small radishes and cut them into matchstick-sized pieces. Dice half of an avocado, after removing the pit and skin.

Step 3

Wash the cilantro, remove the leaves, and chop them finely. Thinly slice the red onion. Combine all the pieces—wedges, cubes, strips, and so on—beautifully in a large bowl.

Step 4

Before dressing the salad, shake the dressing in the jar once more, pour it over the salad, and toss to combine.
