Description
A sweet, almost intoxicating beverage in the Arabic spirit. To make the intoxication literal rather than figurative, you can add a splash of brandy to the coffee.
Ingredients
- Star anise 1 piece
- Cardamom 4 pieces
- Chocolate-Covered Coffee Beans 2 spoons
- Cinnamon ½ spoons
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grind the coffee beans and spices in a coffee grinder.
Step 2
Transfer to the coffee maker, pour boiling water over it, and let it steep for a few minutes.
Step 3
Then mix with sugar and place on very low heat.
Step 4
Wait for it to boil, remove from heat, and strain through a fine sieve into a cup.
