Soy Sprout Salad
Ingredients
- Peanut Sprouts 15 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Orange Bell Peppers 5 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil to taste
- Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Toasted Sesame to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the soy sprouts and immerse them in hot water for 5 minutes. Then drain in a colander and rinse with cold water. Let them drain.
Step 2
Add the green bell pepper, preferably fresh.
Step 3
Prepare the dressing in a separate bowl: grate the garlic, add sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and balsamic vinegar. I always taste it and add any missing ingredients as needed. I think you'll know if it's enough or if something else should be added. Be sure to include the sugar.
Step 4
Mix vigorously and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 5
Before serving, keep in the refrigerator.
