Smoked Trout Salad with Chinese Cabbage
Ingredients
- Rice 10 oz
- Cold-smoked trout 30 oz
- Scallions 1 bunch
- Chinese green beans ½ head
- Canned Corn 1 can
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Cucumbers 4 pieces
- Pickles 1 piece
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Dill 1 bunch
- Garlic 2 cloves
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Shred the smoked trout into a bowl, while removing the bones. Thinly slice the cabbage, finely chop the fresh cucumbers, add the pre-cooked rice, and pour in the can of corn, then crumble the green onions.
Step 2
Make the dressing — a liquid version of tartar sauce. Blend mayonnaise, sour cream, pickles, and garlic in a blender until relatively homogeneous, with a consistency resembling liquid sour cream. Add finely chopped dill to the sauce.
Step 3
Dress the salad, mix thoroughly, and serve.
