Smoked Mackerel Salad

Ingredients

  • Hot smoked pink salmon 10 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
  • Pickled Cauliflower 2 pieces
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Mustard Greens 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Mayonnaise to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Remove the pickled cucumbers from the brine, pat them dry, and cut them into small cubes.

Step 2

Peel the onion, chop it into cubes, place it in a colander, and pour boiling water over it. Then add the onion to a bowl with the chopped cucumbers. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into cubes. Add it to the other ingredients.

Step 3

Remove the skin and bones from the mackerel and cut it into pieces.

Step 4

Add the pieces of mackerel to the bowl with the other ingredients. Dress with mayonnaise, season with salt and mustard to taste, mix well, transfer to a salad bowl, and serve.
