Description
Recipe by John Smith, chef at The Cozy Bistro. An old-fashioned drink considered to be exclusively for ladies: sweet, tasty, not too strong, easy to drink, and as the name suggests, it acts harmlessly, but surely.
Ingredients
- Water 0 qt
- Dried cranberries with sugar 5 lbs
- Fresh-frozen lingonberry 5 lbs
- Sugar 25 oz
- Vodka 2½ l
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the berries in an airtight container with a lid, sprinkle with sugar, and wait for them to release their juice.
Step 2
Pour in the water and vodka, then place in a dark location. Let it steep for 5 days.
Step 3
Strain the berries, squeeze out the juice, and add it to the infusion.
Step 4
Seal it and let the infusion rest in a dark place for at least 24 hours.
Step 5
Serve chilled to 0 degrees in frozen shot glasses.
