Ingredients
- Shallot 1 head
- Minced garlic ½ teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard 2 teaspoons
- Champagne Vinegar 3 tablespoons
- Water 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil ¾ cup
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the shallot, garlic, mustard, vinegar, and water in a large bowl and mix well.
Step 2
While continuously stirring, slowly pour in the olive oil.
Step 3
Alternatively, you can place all the ingredients in a tightly sealed jar, close it, and shake vigorously to mix well.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

The vinaigrette can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
