Description
A traditional Bulgarian salad that requires good tangy feta cheese—look for it at the market and taste it beforehand. Red bell pepper can easily be swapped for green or yellow; the color is not important here.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 15 oz
- Cucumbers 10 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Onion 5 oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Feta cheese 5 oz
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Red Wine Vinegar 0 fl oz
- Olives stuffed with lemon 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Remove the seeds from the pepper and place it in an oven preheated to 390°F for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Then cover it, transfer it to a bag or wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it cool.
Step 4
Peel the cooled peppers and slice them into strips.
Step 5
Peel the cucumbers and slice them into thick rings.
Step 6
Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Step 7
Slice the onion into half-moons.
Step 8
Chop the parsley and grate the feta cheese using a coarse grater.
Step 9
Combine the vegetables and parsley in a large bowl, adding olive oil and vinegar.
Step 10
Sprinkle with feta cheese on top and garnish with olives.
