Description

This is a common Korean appetizer, especially good with first courses. If you enjoy spiciness, feel free to add more pepper. But don’t overdo the sauce, or the salad will lose its freshness. If possible, use sesame oil instead of vegetable oil. Also, don’t prepare too much; after a while, the cucumbers lose their freshness and crunchiness and become rubbery.

Ingredients

  • Onion 1 piece
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Cucumbers 3 pieces
  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the cucumbers into large diagonal pieces and the onion into medium rings.

Step 2

Add all the spices, season with vegetable oil, mix, and the salad is ready.
