Savoy Cabbage with Oatmeal
Ingredients
- Butter 1½ tablespoons
- Olive Oil to taste
- Carrot 1 piece
- Shallot 1 head
- Celery stalk 3 stalks
- Leek ⅓ stalk
- Fresh Thyme 1 stalk
- Minced garlic 2 cloves
- Savoy Cabbage ½ piece
- Oat Groats 2 tablespoons
- Black sesame seeds to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter and olive oil in a skillet over low heat.
Step 2
Then add the carrot, shallot, celery, leek, thyme, and garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
All the ingredients in the skillet should become soft enough.
Step 4
Rinse the cabbage with water and add the oat groats to it.
Step 5
Transfer the other prepared ingredients from the skillet.
Step 6
Thoroughly mix the salad and sprinkle with sesame seeds for flavor.
