  • Sourdough Bread 8 slices
  • Gruyère cheese 10 oz
  • Pears 1 piece
  • Butter to taste
  • Ham 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the cheese and place it on 4 slices of bread, alternating with sliced pears and thinly sliced ham. Top with the remaining bread and press down lightly.

Step 2

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter the outer sides of the sandwiches and place them in the skillet. Cook for 3–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 3

Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve immediately.
