Ingredients

  • Goat cheese 5 oz
  • Bacon 0 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • French Baguette ½ piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Brush the bell pepper with vegetable oil and roast in the oven until the skin is dark and charred. Transfer the pepper to a bag for about 20 minutes, then remove the skin. Cut the flesh of the pepper into small pieces.

Step 2

Slice the bacon and fry until all the fat is rendered. Remove the cracklings from the pan.

Step 3

Cut the baguette into thick slices and toast in the rendered fat on both sides. Spread goat cheese on the bread and top with pieces of roasted pepper.
