Salad with Roquefort, pears, chicory, and walnut oil
Ingredients
- Chicory 1 piece
- Red cocktail cherry 2 pieces
- Pears 1 piece
- Roquefort cheese 5 oz
- Walnuts 3 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the chicory into individual leaves and place them in a bowl. Fill with ice water and let sit for 10 minutes. Drain and dry. Then arrange on serving plates.
Step 2
Peel the pear and remove the core, then slice thinly. Place on top of the chicory.
Step 3
Sprinkle with crumbled cheese and drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 4
Then drizzle with walnut oil and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
