Salad with Red Lentils and Beets

Description
Red lentils of the football variety.
Ingredients
- Yellow Beets 1 piece
- Green Butter ½ bunch
- Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Olive Oil to taste
- Red Wine Vinegar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Lentils ½ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the lentils in water for 10 minutes. Then boil for 5–10 minutes, drain the water, and let cool.
Step 2
Grate the beet (raw!).
Step 3
Tear the lettuce leaves by hand.
Step 4
Mix everything together, add the cottage cheese, and the 2 cloves of garlic (through a garlic press).
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper, dress with olive oil and vinegar. Mix well.
