Ingredients
- Halloumi Cheese 5 oz
- Nectarines 2 pieces
- Smoked Chicken 5 oz
- Iceberg Lettuce ½ pieces
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
- Mustard Greens 1 tablespoon
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Lime 1 piece
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Thyme to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the halloumi into pieces about 5–7 mm thick.
Step 2
Preheat a skillet and fry the halloumi on both sides until golden brown. Cook without oil.
Step 3
Remove the pits from the nectarines and slice them thinly.
Step 4
Slice the chicken into thin pieces.
Step 5
Tear the iceberg lettuce leaves into a large bowl.
Step 6
Add the grilled cheese, chicken, and nectarines to the iceberg lettuce.
Step 7
In a jar with a tightly fitting lid, combine the mustard, olive oil, lime zest and juice, salt, and pepper. Secure the lid and shake well.
Step 8
Toast the almond slices in a dry skillet until golden brown.
Step 9
Place the salad on a plate and drizzle it with the dressing from the jar.
Step 10
Garnish the salad with almond flakes and thyme leaves.
