  • Red Onion ½ head
  • Red Wine Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Sumac 1¼ teaspoons
  • Cucumbers 10 oz
  • Mint 3 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon Juice 2 teaspoons
  • Asian Pears 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the onion with vinegar, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and sumac, and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, combine 2 peeled and cored Asian pears cut into small cubes, cucumber, remaining salt, mint, olive oil, and lemon juice.

Step 3

Add half of the onion mixture to the salad and mix well.

Step 4

Transfer the salad to a plate and garnish with the remaining onion mixture.
