Ingredients
- Fig 8 pieces
- Basil 1 bunch
- Dried Chamomile a pinch
- Marjoram a pinch
- Pizza Mozzarella Cheese 10 pieces
- Lemon 1 piece
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
Step 2
Prepare the dressing: combine olive oil with lemon juice and balsamic vinegar, add salt and pepper, and mix well.
Step 3
Trim the stems off the figs and slice them into rounds.
Step 4
Arrange the sliced figs in a single layer on a large plate, sprinkle with thyme and marjoram, and drizzle with the dressing. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
Step 5
Remove the figs from the refrigerator and top them with mozzarella, breaking each ball in half.
Step 6
Drizzle the salad with the dressing in which the figs marinated, and sprinkle with basil leaves.
