Ingredients
- Mixed salad greens 10 oz
- Cognac 0 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Malt Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Brown Sugar ½ teaspoon
- Chicken Liver 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the liver, remove all membranes, and cut it in half.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the liver. Do not overcook it; the liver should remain juicy!
Step 3
Pour in the balsamic vinegar and add sugar. Let the liquid reduce slightly, allowing the sugar to dissolve, then add the cognac. Ignite and wait for the flame to extinguish. The liver is ready; let it cool slightly.
Step 4
For the dressing, mix olive oil, wine vinegar, honey, mustard seeds, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
Wash and dry the salad greens. In a salad bowl, gently mix them with the dressing using your hands.
Step 6
Place the liver on the salad and serve.
