Salad with Bacon and Avocado
Ingredients
- Bacon 8 pieces
- Spinach 10 oz
- Chinese green beans 15 oz
- Shallot 2 pieces
- Avocado 2 pieces
- Brown Sugar ¼ teaspoon
- Garlic 1 clove
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill. Cook the bacon pieces until crispy. Cool, then cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil in a pot and cook the cut green beans for 4 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water for a few seconds.
Step 3
Place the spinach in a bowl, add the green beans, bacon, and sliced shallots. Cut the avocado into cubes and add to the bowl.
Step 4
Mix the minced garlic and sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Drizzle the dressing over the salad, season with salt, and toss.
