Salad "Cod Liver Under a Fur Coat"

Ingredients

  • Canned cod liver 5 oz
  • Salad Potatoes 2 pieces
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
  • Prunes 12 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Scallions to taste
  • Mayonnaise to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the carrot and potatoes in their skins. Hard boil the eggs.

Step 2

Layer the salad, spreading mayonnaise between each layer: 1st layer - grated potatoes; 2nd layer - cod liver without oil, mashed with a fork, do not spread with mayonnaise; 3rd layer - finely chopped onion; 4th layer - grated carrot; 5th layer - prunes cut into strips; 6th layer - grated egg white; 7th layer - finely crumbled egg yolks.

Step 3

Garnish with herbs.

Step 4

Before serving, refrigerate the salad for three hours.
